German oil firm to remain in Libya

German oil firm to remain in Libya

German oil firm Wintershall has said it will remain in Libya, as it struggle to increase production

German oil firm Wintershall has said it will remain in Libya, as it struggle to increase production.

German oil firm Wintershall said it is struggling to return production in Libya to levels from before the civil war, with difficulties finding contractors, and despite its vast resources, it is also ruling out exploring for more hydrocarbons.

The company’s Chief Executive Rainer Seele told Reuters that Wintershall, the oil and gas unit of chemical giant BASF is not finding the conditions for foreign oil firms in Libya attractive enough.

Wintershall was reported to be the second-largest foreign oil firm in Libya before the ousting from power of the former dictatorial regime of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011. The largest was Italy’s ENI. Before the revolution, Libya accounted for three-quarters of its total oil output.

Since the end of the conflict Wintershall has been trying to return to its pre-war level of production, targeting an output of 100,000 barrels per day this year, but right now Seele says it’s output is around 80,000 barrels per day on average and it will be difficult to reach the prewar level of 100,000 barrels per day this year, as it had earlier expected.

“It is a challenge but we are working for that,” Seele told Reuters, “It is difficult to give a certain date (but) we would like to get to 100,000 barrels as early as possible,” he added.

A year ago, the main challenge was Libya’s old pipeline system, which was preventing the firm from transporting its crude from the Libyan desert to port. But that problem was partly solved after Wintershall helped build a new pipeline, which it says will be in operation soon.

Seele added that the difficulty now is finding the required contractors. “The service industry is not at the same level that it was before the war … This is a limit,” he said.

Talking about security in Libya, he said the the crisis in the Amenas gas plant in Algeria has not affected Wintershall’s installations.”I definitely have not seen a change. We had already increased our security system in Libya because of the civil war in 2011,” he added.

He ruled out exploration in Libya, as long as the conditions offered to foreign oil companies were not favourable. “The framework really is not supporting additional exploration. The contractual base needs to be improved. I am not hungry for exploration right now,” he said.

Seele added that Wintershall will remain in Libya, the only country in North Africa where his company has a presence.

THE PICTURE IS IN TRIPOLI & NOT IN BENGHAZI

- Entrepreneur Jew Raphael Luzon returned to Britain after being imprisoned in Benghazi: Raphael Luzon, a former Libyan Jew, returned to the UK safely on Sunday after security forces in Benghazi imprisoned and interrogated him for several days.
Luzon said his ordeal began in Benghazi on July 22 when “suddenly a friend sent me a text warning me to be careful that security forces are looking for me,” he recalled. “I immediately called the Italian consul who came to my hotel, but when I went to the lobby to meet him he was surrounded by 12 to 15 armed men.
They didn’t let the consul speak, they put me in the car and took me outside Benghazi.”
Luzon, who said he was in the country for business, was kept behind bars at a military camp outside the Mediterranean city without being told why.
“I felt my life was in danger for the first 24 hours because no one knew where I was or what had happened to me,” Luzon said. “In the morning high officials came. One of them, a general shouted at my captors saying they should have brought me food and water.”
(what Drama!!!! really!!!!)

“What really counts is popular sentiment, I am convinced nothing has really changed over there as far as the Jews are concerned,” he wrote in an email to the Post. “[The Libyans believe Jews are] undesired greedy ogres to be ridden of in Palestine and, of course, in Libya.” (they are not wrong at thinking that about them and by the way NO ONE KICKED THEM OUT OF LIBYA STOP LYING YOU TOOK IT UP YOURSELVES TO LEAVE LIBYA now you have no rights as long as you are stepping on the rights of Palestine)

The saucy criminal to steal more and more from  Libya of the Libyans is that one “person approaches the NTC and alleges that the site has been constructed which a particular building was theirs and that the government of the Jamahiriyah removed it …?. reasoning completely absurd if we consider that these houses and flats they were gifts for the Libyans and are Libyan ALL being built in north-south and east to west including the smaller towns in the desert. However, the NTC accept this “intelligent reasoning” and surrender the property to this “person” who has claimed such a thing. All Libyans know is false, but any signs of being against is interpreted as a sign of being “gadafista “and therefore punishable, so nobody says anything against such theft to the Libyans.

Buildings under construction in Tripoli a week before the attack on Libya.

- Tribute to the hero paradigm of humanity and revolutionary MODESTY: A bronze bust of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, was created to save the image in the heart and the memory of this indomitable man.Its main purpose in life was in charge of social protection of each home. His dream was to unite and make Africa a poor blooming oasis. If there are saints in Islam, Muammar Gaddafi will certainly be among his face. Eternal memory HERO! … The pedestal consists of 3 types of natural stone: 1) Malachite. 2) White marble. 3) dark green serpentine nobleman. Carved malachite flag of Libya. (We have posted on YouTube where you can find a closer look at the bust from all sides:

Chronicle of the attack on Libya: As imperialism DO NOT care about the welfare of the Libyans they are interested in the oil and the plundering of its natural reserves, cultural and financial. The UN holds a silent complicity! ….

Libya: So it was oil

after all!

It is evident that the invasion of Libya was all about oil as the oil companies of France and Italian companies struggle with the British and U.S. companies in the spoils of war.

RT  - Last year NATO bombed Libya, demanding “democracy” in the country. But it is now clear that it was all about oil and not like the Americans and British are going to be democratic about it, and share the spoils equally with France and Italy.

So … Oil giant Total of France and ENI of Italy is only going to have to wait on the sidelines while the boys hungry for great Americans and Britons take their juicy slices of oil in the first place … Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Texaco, BP, Shell …

It’s no surprise then to read in The Wall Street Journal that the U.S.Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), along with the puppets of Libya “authorities” are launching “investigations” in both companies “financial irregularities” in their shady dealings during the forty-two years in power of Gaddafi. Now who would have imagined this! An Italian oil company involved in bribes? Corruption in high places of the French oil industry? Tsk, tsk! Never seen before …! The U.S. and the United Kingdom would never do that! Ask Enron, Halliburton ask, ask BP …

Clearly, the big oil companies will now be judged by how close or how far they were from that of Gaddafi, and the amount of their respective countries contributed to the war effort last year. Perhaps even in how much and how far and wide who shared his great ill-gotten gains. It seems that now must be completed scorecards …

It is worth remembering that at the height of the struggle against Libya last year, the “rebels” found the time between his “freedom” to fight the changes, the creation of a new national oil company. As reported by Bloomberg on March 22, 2011, “The National Transitional Council issued a statement announcing the decision at a meeting of 19 March to establish the” Oil Company of Libya, as controlling authority on the production of Oil and policies in the country, with temporary headquarters in Benghazi, and the appointment of an interim CEO “of the company.”

And just like big oil and big finance always dance together, this report then went on to explain that “The Council also said that” designated the Central Bank of Benghazi as a monetary authority competent monetary policies in Libya and the appointment of a Governor Central Bank of Libya, with temporary headquarters in Benghazi. “

Like Romeo and Juliet, Tristan and Isolde, or Abelard and Heloise, oil and money are probably the most universal and paradigmatic duo West. Their love story has been going strong for many decades.

Oil is a powerful global business powerful. Oil companies can make or break governments and countries. The nationalization of foreign oil company as Iran did in the early fifties can be put to the CIA and MI6 intelligence agencies in the team complete overthrow democratically elected governments and replacing it with “The leaders of the most suitable.

The oil trade in a currency other than U.S. dollar Saddam Hussein as he dared in November 2002 can be achieved that invaded a few months later. Pointing fingers, even illegal adventures Argentina weak British oil in the Falkland Islands led to the Royal Navy destroyers and sending nuclear submarines in the region super …

Libya is the world’s ninth largest oil producer and has the largest oil reserves in Africa. Gaddafi intended to introduce a new currency for the Libyan oil and regional levels: the gold dinar which, unlike the U.S. dollar, would have an intrinsic value real.   The Central Bank of Gaddafi, in turn, was completely independent of the global financial crisis of usury-based system currently in the global free fall. Gaddafi was using oil revenues to his own people and not for the U.S. / UK / EU / Israeli war efforts in the Middle East and beyond.

So, when the Persian Gulf became very, very hot today, the world oil cartel, along with bankers random mega-billions and billions of petro-dollars around the world, had to ensure that their governments would put its army on high alert, as the oil giants scrambled for new sources …

The focus is increasingly on oil fields that lie in “nicer” parts of the world: the Falkland Islands, off the Brazilian coast, and Libya, which is right in the middle of that easy to attack “is our -bloody-Mediterranean-Sea “North African coast.

Last year the destruction of Libya was simply a reflection of this type of complex behind the scenes engineering of all key oil, financial, military, media and political actors. It’s the kind of real-time news that rarely appears in the newspapers … just because it’s the Real News!

For most of last year to the public performance of Muammar Qaddafi by agents of power in the western interior of Libya, ie mercenaries, criminals, thugs and CIA/MI6/Mossad agents, also known as “freedom fighters “- the Western media over and over again how bad Gaddafi was suddenly in the night, how the poor Libyans were clamoring for “democracy” and how the heroic freedom fighters of Libya”, based on, armed trained and financed in Benghazi were fighting to “liberate” Clintonite Libya and impose “democracy” and “human rights.” Actually, these “freedom fighters” exceeded its track, now that Libya is finally “free”, which are asking for the eastern Cyrenaica to separate from the rest of the country.

It was part of the plan of the civil war in the West in Libya? Last year, after securing the full UN backing through Resolution No. 1973 which allows NATO air strikes to devastate the country and impose the most violent regime change seen in recent times, the NATO-backed by bullies have plunged the country into chaos.

As the “business of Libya News” says the publication on Tuesday, “About 3,000 people gathered in Benghazi last month to announce that the club (Cyrenaica) was an autonomous region within the federal state. Barca is in the center of the oil industry in Libya, with two thirds of production and three-quarters of the reserves in this country. “It’s one of the three historical regions that divide the country. And while Barca has the most oil, the other two is home to two thirds of the population. So the question now is how the income of rich rich oil reserves will be “democratically” distributed among the population.

Why Gaddafi got a red card

THE ROVING EYE    Why Gaddafi got a red card

By Pepe Escobar

Surveying the Libyan wasteland out of a cozy room crammed with wafer-thin LCDs in a Pyongyang palace, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea‘s Dear Leader, Kim Jong-il, must have been stunned as he contemplated Colonel Muammar Gaddafi‘s predicament.

“What a fool,” the Dear Leader predictably murmurs. No wonder. He knows how The Big G virtually signed his death sentence that day in 2003 when he accepted the suggestion of his irrepressibly nasty offspring – all infatuated with Europe - to dump his weapons of mass destruction program and place the future of the regime in the hands of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)

Granted, Saif al-Islam, Mutassim, Khamis and the rest of the Gaddafi clan still couldn’t tell the difference between partying hard in St Tropez and getting bombed by Mirages and Rafales. But Big G, wherever he is, in Sirte, in the central desert or in a silent caravan to Algeria, must be cursing them to eternity.

He thought he was a NATO partner. Now NATO wants to blow his head off. What kind of partnership is this?

The Sunni monarchical dictator in Bahrain stays; no “humanitarian” bombs over Manama, no price on his head. The House of Saud club of dictators stays; no “humanitarian” bombs over Riyadh, Dubai or Doha – no price on their Western-loving gilded heads. Even the Syrian dictator is getting a break – so far.

So the question, asked by many an Asia Times Online reader, is inevitable: what was the crucial red line crossed by Gaddafi that got him a red card?

‘Revolution’ made in France
There are enough red lines crossed by The Big G – and enough red cards – to turn this whole computer screen blood red.

Let’s start with the basics.

The Frogs did it. It’s always worth repeating; this is a French war. The Americans don’t even call it a war; it’s a “kinetic action” or something. The “rebel” Transitional National Council” (TNC) is a French invention.

And yes - this is above all neo-Napoleonic President Nicolas Sarkozy’s war. He’s the George Clooney character in the movie (poor Clooney). Everybody else, from David of Arabia Cameron to Nobel Peace Prize winner and multiple war developer Barack Obama, are supporting actors.

As already reported by Asia Times Online, this war started in October 2010 when Gaddafi’s chief of protocol, Nuri Mesmari, defected to Paris, was approached by French intelligence and for all practical purposes a military coup d’etat was concocted, involving defectors in Cyrenaica.

(**** Nuri Mesmari, did not defect because he was against Qaddafi but because he is embezzler, stole a lot of money from the Libyan people and he was about to be imprisoned! )

Sarko had a bag full of motives to exact revenge on The Big G.

French banks had told him that Gaddafi was about to transfer his billions of euros to Chinese banks. Thus Gaddafi could not by any means become an example to other Arab nations or sovereign funds.

French corporations told Sarko that Gaddafi had decided not to buy Rafale fighters anymore, and not to hire the French to build a nuclear plant; he was more concerned in investing in social services.

Energy giant Total wanted a much bigger piece of the Libyan energy cake – which was being largely eaten, on the European side, by Italy’s ENI, especially because Premier Silvio “bunga bunga” Berlusconi, a certified Big G fan, had clinched a complex deal with Gaddafi.

Thus the military coup was perfected in Paris until December; the first popular demonstrations in Cyrenaica in February - largely instigated by the plotters – were hijacked. The self-promoting philosopher Bernard Henri-Levy flew his white shirt over an open torso to Benghazi to meet the “rebels” and phone Sarkozy, virtually ordering him to recognize them in early March as legitimate (not that Sarko needed any encouragement).

The TNC was invented in Paris, but the United Nations also duly gobbled it up as the “legitimate” government of Libya - just as NATO did not have a UN mandate to go from a no-fly zone to indiscriminate “humanitarian” bombing, culminating with the current siege of Sirte.

The French and the British redacted what would become UN Resolution 1973. Washington merrily joined the party. The US State Department brokered a deal with the House of Saud through which the Saudis would guarantee an Arab League vote as a prelude for the UN resolution, and in exchange would be left alone to repress any pro-democracy protests in the Persian Gulf, as they did, savagely, in Bahrain.

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC – then transmuted into Gulf Counter-Revolution Club) also had tons of reasons to get rid of Gaddafi. The Saudis would love to accommodate a friendly emirate in northern Africa, especially by getting rid of the ultra-bad blood between Gaddafi and King Abdullah. The Emirates wanted a new place to invest and “develop”. Qatar, very cozy with Sarko, wanted to make money - as in handling the new oil sales of the “legitimate” rebels.

United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton may be very cozy with the House of Saud or the murderous al-Khalifas in Bahrain. But the State Department heavily blasted Gaddafi for his “increasingly nationalistic policies in the energy sector”; and also for “Libyanizing” the economy.

The Big G, a wily player, should have seen the writing on the wall. Since prime minister Mohammad Mossadegh was deposed essentially by the Central Intelligence Agency in Iran in 1953, the rule is that you don’t antagonize globalized Big Oil. Not to mention the international financial/banking system - promoting subversive ideas such as turning your economy to the benefit of your local population.

If you’re pro-your country you are automatically against those who rule – Western banks, mega-corporations, shady “investors” out to profit from whatever your country produces.

Gaddafi not only crossed all these red lines but he also tried to sneak out of the petrodollar; he tried to sell to Africa the idea of a unified currency, the gold dinar (most African countries supported it); he invested in a multibillion dollar project - the Great Man-Made River, a network of pipelines pumping fresh water from the desert to the Mediterranean coast - without genuflecting at the alter of the World Bank; he invested in social programs in poor, sub-Saharan countries; he financed the African Bank, thus allowing scores of nations to bypass, once again, the World Bank and especially the International Monetary Fund; he financed an African-wide telecom system that bypassed Western networks; he raised living standards in Libya. The list is endless.

Why didn’t I call Pyongyang

And then there’s the crucial Pentagon/Africom/NATO military angle. No one in Africa wanted to host an Africom base; Africom was invented during the George W Bush administration as a means to coerce and control Africa on the spot, and to covertly fight China’s commercial advances.

So Africom was forced to settle in that most African of places; Stuttgart, Germany.

The ink on UN Resolution 1973 was barely settled when Africom, for all practical purposes, started the bombing of Libya with over 150 Tomahawks – before command was transferred to NATO. That was Africom’s first African war, and a prelude of thing to come. Setting up a permanent base in Libya will be practically a done deal – part of a neo-colonial militarization of not only northern Africa but the whole continent.

NATO’s agenda of dominating the whole Mediterranean as a NATO lake is as bold as Africom’s agenda of becoming Africa’s Robocop. The only trouble spots were Libya, Syria and Lebanon - the three countries not NATO members or linked with NATO via myriad “partnerships”.

To understand NATO’s global Robocop role – legitimized by the UN – one just has to pay attention to the horse’s mouth, NATO secretary general Anders Fogh Rasmussen. As Tripoli was still being bombed, he said,

“If you’re not able to deploy troops beyond your borders, then you can’t exert influence internationally, and then that gap will be filled by emerging powers that don’t necessarily share your values and thinking.”

So there it is, out in the open. NATO is a Western high-tech militia to defend American and European interests, to isolate the interests of the emerging BRICS countries and others, and to keep the “natives”, be they Africans or Asians, down. The whole lot much easier to accomplish as the scam is disguised by R2P – “responsibility to protect”, not civilians, but the subsequent plunder.

Against all these odds, no wonder The Big G was bound for a red card, and to be banned from the game forever.

Only a few hours before The Big G had to start fighting for his life, the Dear Leader was drinking Russian champagne with President Dmitry Medvedev, talking about an upcoming Pipelineistan gambit and casually evoking his willingness to talk about his still active nuclear arsenal.

That sums up why the Dear Leader is going up while The Big G is going down.

Tuaregs brilliantly dealt heavy losses to mercenaries MSP / NATO. The defeat led to the deaths of dozens of rats plus substantial material losses. [NOTE: Not certain where this occurred--perhaps Ghadames]

Tripoli: Heavy fighting between supporters of the Jamahiriya and the rats took place in Tripoli. Al-Qaeda Islamist commander, Beladj, left the city after being threatened by a rat. [NOTE: This report will include, later, a report that states that Abdel Hakim Belhadj has been shot, and has left the country].

DernaDerna has been fully liberated this morning. A rebel ran to the side of the Jamahiriya. Rats suffered heavy losses in manpower and technology.

Al-Baida: Heavy fighting continues in the city, where nearly 50% of the city was taken over by the legitimate authorities of Libya.

Benghazi: Rats control no more than the city center. Many civilians are now reluctant to follow the “governance” of the TNC, and they raise the Green Flag.

Al-Qaeda chief, Abdel Hakim Belhadj, shot–taken to a hospital in Italy

Thursday, 06.10.2011 – 11:03

Algeria-ISP, a leading Algerian news portals, reported the attack on the Abdel hakim Belhadj, chief of temporary Al-Qaeda forces in Tripoli.

With reference to the site of Libyan resistance, Zengtena, Algeria-ISP reports that Belhadj had been wounded by armed members of the tribe Zentai, members of the group Itihad. Sources say that Belhadj was transferred to a hospital in Italy. Another report says that he was first taken to a Libyan hospital at Maitiga, and then flown to Italy.

Moscow sobers up. Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not recognize that NATO’s intervention in Libya has saved innumerable lives

Thursday, 06.10.2011 – 14:08

Moscow does not recognize that NATO’s intervention in Libya has saved innumerable lives, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, following talks with Djibouti counterpart, Mohamed Ali Yusuf.

“We do not accept claims, which are distributed from NATO headquarters, that NATO’s intervention has saved innumerable lives,” said Minister Lavrov.” This is an attempt at wishful thinking.” UN Resolution calls for measures to protect civilians, NATO ignored the Resolution.”

“In the early stages of the crisis there was every opportunity to stop the bloodshed and to bring the parties to the negotiating table. The African Union authored a good proposal, which we strongly supported.”

[NOTE: At the risk of sounding ungrateful for Minister Lavrov's comments, one cannot help but wonder why is he saying this at time, after Russia had turned its back on Libya twice. Could it be that Russian intelligence, which, no doubt, Lavrov has access to, has briefed Mr. Lavrov that the tide is turning in the favor of Gaddafi and the Libyan Jamahiriya in Libya?

Is Lavrov "doing a Berlusconi," where one day he's for you, and the next day he's against you, depending on which way the wind is blowing. In the case of Berlusconi, his vacillation was obviously due to the fact that he wanted to keep a foot in the door of the Jamahiriya, just in case the Jamahiriya came out on top. Then, Italy might be seen as a friendly country, and the doors of the Jamahiriya would be opened for Italy to come get some oilIs this what is happening with Mr. Lavrov? Or, has the Russian conscience finally been exercised?]

“To our great regret, the other members of the international community, especially our Western partners did not support this initiative and took the path of supporting one party in a civil war at the cost of the multiplication of civilian casualties.” [Note: Why did Russia abstain on Resolution 1973?]

Russia advocates that all  such conflicts be resolved on the basis of international law and the UN Charter principles, involving the use of military force only in cases in which the Charter allows it, such as self-defence.

This right to self-defense and the use of force under the authority of the UN Security Council,” he explained, ["is legitimate"].

Britons ready to occupy Trafalgar Square, protesting against the war in Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan

Thursday, 06.10.2011 – 22:12

The anti-Wall Street protests in the U.S. have spread to other Western countries. Canadians and Australians are already planning similar protests, and now they are ready to begin in London. Protesters plan to take the London Trafalgar Square and speak out against British aggression in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya.

Organisers said: “We are ready to take Trafalgar Square on Saturday, October 8th, 2011, to express our opposition to war. The vast majority of the people in Britain oppose the participation of Britain in the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya.”

The Americans have already formed associations, and are protesting there. The U.S. regime is afraid of rebellion if the situation gets out of control.

Although the protests were peaceful, the U.S. security forces have already arrested more than a thousand people. Most of them were arrested at the Boston Bridge.

People are buying sleeping bags and camping, similar to what was done at Tahrir Square, in Egypt, where protests led to the fall of the Egyptian puppet regime.

News from various sources

Sirte: According to new reports Libyans lured NATO mercenaries towards a roadside bomb by raising a white flag, destroying three Mercenary vehicles and its occupants in the trap. Fighting continues in Southern Sirte therefore it is hard to get more information from sources connected with Libyan Defense Forces.

In the east front, NATO mercenaries made a small attack and were defeated. Thirteen (13) NATO mercenaries were killed, two tanks were destroyed, and the remaining mercenaries fled.

In the west front of Sirte, 4 tanks of rats were destroyed, and many NATO mercenaries are dead.  Fighting is ongoing. This is 100 per cent confirmed news. The mother of all battles for Libya has started.

The battle started last night around 2 am GMT. NATO-mercenaries who initially had NATO air cover have faced many complicated traps by the Libyan Army.

Seems that on the south front of Sirte, they are defeated. Now the battle is for the west of Sirte. When we have reliable updates we will come back with more detailed news.

The steadfast of Sirte and the courageous tribes will surprise the world.

A courageous member of the Werfalla Tribe in Sirte has blown himself up among the ranks of NATO-mercenaries: dozens of them died.

Bani Walid: Libyans in Bani Walid are attacking NATO check points in North Eastern Roads which lead to Sirte.

Zintan: A big division of formerly-mislead Zintan people have come and joined the honourable tribes of Libya to defend the NATO-mercenaries and colonialists. May they be the example that will show the road to other mislead Libyan people. These Zintan fighters also brought usefull information with them. And they swore that they will be the first to enter Tipoli and clean it from their former allies, the NATO-mercenaries.

Western Mountains: Volunteers of the tribes are attacking NATO-mercenaries in the night, every night, causing losses. Yesterday night they used missiles to bomb some strategic places of NATO-mercenaries.

Zuara: Intense fighting has also been reported in the coastal town of Zuara. Most NATO Mercenaries have left the town of Zuara to attack Sirte therefore making the town a favored pick for their inhuman and demonic designs.

At the same time, Libya’s largest oil field refinery has been destroyed by the Libyan Defense Forces in an attempt to stop foreign aggressors from leaching and plundering Libyan resources. Libyan Jamahariya Government said that they will rebuild the refinery once Libya has been liberated from NATO and its Mercenaries.

Tripoli: More reports of fighting in Tripoli. Libyan Defense Forces attacked NATO Mercenaries. The Libyan Defense Forces used NATO Mercenary flags to cause huge confusion among the enemy.

A team of Jamahiriya resistance fighters have attacked the house of the Al-Qaeda leader, Abdel Hakim Belhadj. We still don’t know if he is dead or alive. Another team is on the hunt for Mahmoud Jibril and many other teams are in the hunt for other traitors and members of the NTC.

Huge fighting is going on in Alhmedat, La Nwyel and Safeyat.

Here are some of the cities that are controlled by the Libyan Army and Libyan Moujaheeds:

  • Sirte,

  • Bani-Walid,

  • Gadames,

  • Tiji,

  • Bar Al-Harush,

  • Kufra, Tobruk,

  • Al Baydam,

  • Dermam,

  • Al-Marld,

  • Al-Biar,

  • Al-Brega,

  • Ras Lanuf,

  • all oil wells and

  • all of Southern Libya.

  • Green Resistance attacked Checkpoints in Benghazi and also attacked a hotel controlled by the rats.

ArraiTV confirms that the Sabha Green Resistance has shot down a transport plane carrying 200 rebels in the middle of desert.

Green resistance from Bani Walid, Sabha, and other areas of Libya are making their way to Sirte.

Sirte- rebels made a massive retreat after facing very heavy fighting. The Green Resistance fought the rats out of the city.

Morris Herman Green Resistance Report:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=nVk-EizLj9I

There were large protests all across Tripoli. The people are waving green flags, and there are many green flags around the city. There are many clashes, from Fashloum to Gurgi, Bab al Aziziyah and Green Square.

Very heavy fighting is occuring at Green Square and Souq al Juma’a. In the Gurji area, 70 NTC rebels were killed and 4 pickup trucks were burnt. The Green Resistance in Tripoli has captured a large weapons supply warehouse, and found 30 light tanks and large stocks of weapons.

Also, Libyan “navy marines” have captured parts of the coastal areas and have wreaked a NATO ship as it was pulled into international waters.

Constant gunfire and explosions is heard in the city both at night and day. Life has become chaotic, and people are arrested at highways constantly without reason.

The NTC rebels have set up 27 jails near the Port, and constant screams of people can be heard across the area. NTC rebel commander Abdel Hakim Belhaj “al Qaeda” made a speech at a press conference at a hotel in Tripoli and announced that all must be disarmed. This was a declaration of war to all rival brigades. As reported previously, it was an explosive decision made by Belhaj.

The NTC Zintan rebel commander announced an arrest warrant for Belhaj and his brigade. Immediately, shoot outs began in the middle of the hotel. Belhaj survived that assassination attempt, and moved to the Hadba Military Airport.

Three NTC brigades called the Hasadi “al Qaeda” brigade, the Misrata Brigade and the Zintan brigade, made an alliance to kill NTC Abdel Hakim Belhaj “al Qaeda” brigade in Tripoli.  They surrounded Habda Airport, and heaving fighting continued as eyewitnesses reported that hundreds of rebels died in clashes of NTC infighting.  The condition of Abdel Hakim Belhaj, who was surrounded at that airport, is unknown [See report above].

In-fighting continues among NTC rebels.
