Definition: The meaning of `ratverment`
From Libya always comes something new: even new words entered the dictionary, first Jamahiriya to describe the non-government of the masses and now Ratverment to describe the non-government of the rats.
Editor’s note: We have been trying to find a way to describe the “regime” which is occupying Libya and based in Tripoli. It is hard to describe. It is not a government, as it has no authority and does not even control the forces that brought it to power, which are themselves disunited, at least in Libya.
It’s external backing forces are more united, and hence the regime is also often called a proxy regime. But regime also implies some form of control over people.
The best is to enter a new word into the dictionary.
The word Jamahiriya entered the world dictionary in all languages as a new universal word, to describe the self-governing state of the masses which existed in Libya since 1977.
There is an age old saying “From Libya always comes something new”.
The new depths to which “humankind” have sunk, have also been reached in Libya both by the so-called “international community” and those who attacked the Jamahiriya but also by a sizable number of Libyan and other Arab peoples.
Those who commit such unbelievable atrocities and who have every dishonorable characteristic have been called rats.
We think the best word to describe the non-regime non-government and even non-entity that is attempting to rule Libya a “ratverment“.It also conjures up “vermin” which is appropriate. In other languages a similar translation could perhaps also be made.
Now our reporting and editing work will be made easier, as anyone doing a web search soon to find out what a “ratverment” is will find this definition.
